I was advised by my mother that whilst I was enjoying this weather (having even gotten sunburnt on this very day), the rest of Scotland was fog bound and every flight to any from a Scottish airport had been grounded for 2 days!
If you look carefully to the left of the picture, you will see the fog rolling over the mountains and spilling out on to the flatter land around the coast.
The fog never made it to us I am glad to say, but did make us start our route back to the tent as a precaution... If it had have made it to us, then the visibility would have been nil.
So what you are looking at here is the very far north west of Scotland just before Cape Wrath. This was one of our walks out of the campsite to find a suitable cliff edge to cook and eat our evening meal on. It was the end of the meal before the midge and clegs found us!
