This picture is actually 11 pictures (all taken in portrait) and stitched together. They were taken from the Bridge of Orchy Hills looking out over Rannoch Moor.
The pictures were taken on the ridge between (out of sight) Beinn a' Chreahain 1081m and (right) Coire Dubh Mor 894m. The lochan is Lochan a' Chreachain and the peak on the right of the picture is Meall Buidhe (978m).
The photos were taken using a polarising filter, hence the darker blue effect in the middle of the picture, but please remember you are looking at an more than 180degree panorama here, and this is exactly how a polarising filter works (at certain angles to the sun).
