There are times when you just know you have to stop and take that photo despite it being one of the most photoed mountains in Rannoch Moor/Glencoe area. Well this was one of them. I just had to stop...
When I originally stopped to photo this picture, there were actually no clouds. Gradually, as I walking to find the spot that I wanted, it started to cloud over. When I left, the light was lost and everything was dull.
There is not a lot that can be said about the mountain. It is such as well known one in the UK (Clach Leathad). This picture was taken from within easy access of the A82, though the land around being totally frozen was a real bonus, it meant that I was able to get all the way down to the loch shore.
